Jake Evans
Jake Evans is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter from Manchester U.K.
He is the former Bad Lieutenant frontman (featuring Bernard Sumner [Joy Division / New Order] and Alex James [Blur]) and Doves' Jimi Goodwin's guitarist.
The singles Easy On My Soul and Glorious earned him Single of the Week on Absolute Radio, plays on BBC Radio 2 from Jo Whiley, BBC 6 Music's Guy Garvey and Phil Clifton at Radio X.
Since Jake's emergence on the scene as a solo artist in 2014 he has supported the likes of New Order, Johnny Marr and Paul Weller in the UK and Europe, culminating in his second sold-out solo tour of the UK this spring. He most recently played at the Isle of Wight Festival and will be opening again for New Order at their sold-out Castlefield Bowl show on July 9th.
